The obligation to report communicable diseases (obligation to report to a physician) and pathogens (obligation to report to a laboratory) to the responsible health authority and, if necessary, to the Robert Koch-Institute (RKI) stipulated by Art. 6 and 7 of the Federal Law on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases in Humans (IfSG).
