These include:
- hand hygiene
- barrier measures/personal protective equipment (PPE)
- medical disposable gloves
- aprons and protective gowns
- face and eye protection
- surface disinfection
- reprocessing of medical devices
- waste disposal
- handling of laundry
- handling of dishes
- information and training of patients and their visitors
- type of accommodation.
